May Reflections: Return to Yourself

There’s a moment in every season where the world seems to whisper: “Breathe. Come home. Everything you’ve been searching for is already within you.”
For me, that moment arrived in Sedona a couple of weeks ago.
In April, I had the profound privilege of leading an Inner Child Workshop surrounded by the red rocks and ancient stillness of that special desert land. What happened there was nothing short of soul-awakening.
It was a week of deepest remembering. Laughing so hard our cheeks ached. Of dancing with energy, eating with joy, playing like children… and healing like warriors.
I allowed myself to channel again—for the first time in a long time. I reconnected with the beautiful angelic realm and let their messages pour through me. And witnessing how those messages landed… how they moved hearts, softened fears, and opened something sacred within each person present—brought me to tears.
It reminded me why I do what I do. Why this work matters. Why tuning in to your truth, your light, your essence—is the most important thing you can ever give yourself.
And as May arrived, I realized: that’s really what this season is about.
Not pushing.
Not achieving more.
Not blending into someone else's expectations.
But consciously creating space to realign with what truly matters.
This month, I’ve been exploring what it means to return to myself.
To reclaim my time.
To reflect on what’s no longer aligned with the version of me I’m becoming.
To say “yes” to what energizes me—and “no” (without guilt) to what drains me.
To nourish my nervous system instead of overriding it.
Because balance isn’t something we find on a retreat or in the perfect morning routine. It’s something we create moment by moment—with boundaries, courage, compassion, and truth.
And sometimes, that creation begins with simply slowing down… and honoring how far we’ve come.
So I’ll ask you the questions I’ve been asking myself:
What am I most proud of this season?
Where am I giving too much of my energy—and what needs to shift?
What does freedom mean to me now? And am I living in alignment with that freedom?
These are not small questions. But they lead to powerful clarity.
This is the season of self-honoring.
That might look like:
Canceling a plan you don’t have the energy for
Sitting with your journal and a lit candle
Saying NO when you used to say yes out of fear or pressure
Listening to your body (before it has to scream to get your attention)
Letting yourself rest… deeply, unapologetically
I’ve come to believe that true freedom begins in our inner world. It’s not something we chase—it’s something we cultivate, one aligned decision at a time. (Please read that again if it resonates with you.)
And when we choose to nurture that inner safety, that inner spaciousness, everything else begins to flow.
A Loving Invitation
If you’ve been moving too fast, if your soul feels weary, or if you simply need a reminder...
Let this be it:
Your peace is worth prioritizing.
Your well-being is a sacred responsibility.
And your permission to rest, reflect, and restore was never something you had to earn.
Wherever you are right now—half bloomed, wildly thriving, or still finding your light again—you are exactly where you need to be.
Trust your rhythm... Honor your journey... And know it’s safe to come home to yourself.
