Your First Step Starts Here
Thank you for trusting me with this. I'm honored you're here.
I've also sent this exercise to your inbox so you can come back to it anytime.
If your quiz result was The Hidden Soul, there's a good chance you've spent years becoming incredibly good at surviving.
You may appear calm on the outside while carrying exhaustion, loneliness, or emotional heaviness that very few people ever see.
It may feel like weakness to you, but other people probably describe you as "strong."
What you may not yet realize is that you've become a master at protecting yourself.
Your nervous system learned that staying guarded was the safest option available.
If you're ready to stop hiding and begin stepping toward the authentic version of yourself, the one who isn't afraid to be seen or heard, let's take one small step together.
Your First Step
This exercise takes just 2 to 5 minutes. It's a small investment of time that can create a meaningful shift.
Take a slow look around the room.
Notice five things you normally wouldn't pay attention to. It could be the door handle, an air vent, a light switch, the corner of the ceiling, or the texture of the floor. Just choose ordinary things.
Now place one hand over your heart and ask yourself:
Does this room feel safe?
Then ask:
Do I feel safe?
If your answer is no, ask yourself one more question:
Is it this room that feels unsafe, or is this a feeling I carry with me?
That's it.
You aren't trying to fix yourself.
You aren't trying to heal your entire past.
You're simply giving yourself permission to notice what is true in this moment.
Awareness is where healing begins.
I often tell my clients that awareness is ninety percent of the solution because we can't change what we haven't allowed ourselves to see.
If this exercise gave you even the smallest sense of relief or understanding, imagine what could happen with a little more guidance and support.
That's exactly why I created Thaw to Thrive.
Over seven days, I'll help you understand why your nervous system responds the way it does. You'll learn simple, practical tools to help you feel safer in your own body, quiet the constant need for protection, and begin building genuine self-trust.
Healing doesn't happen all at once. The safer you start to feel, the more healing you'll experience.
If you're ready for the next step, I'd love to guide you.
